Ok so I'm sure ONE day or another you'll are gonna land up in Goa..and everyones gonna ask someone or the other DO YOU KNOW OF A GOOD PLACE TO EAT???..
hmmmm...tough one...
well Maybe I can Help a bit..( :D )
Ok...here's some options
If your a Veg Girl/Guy
you might wanna check out Navtaras in Panjim (now in mapusa too) or even Kamat's near the main Panjim church. .although their menu is a bit limited..
If you wanna try the Goan Fish Curry Rice...take it from a Local Goan...don't Waste your time and Money eating at some flashy place cause their gonna rip you off serve you crap and then laugh in the kitchen that they made you eat crap and you PAID for it...(doesn't make you feel to good does it???)
Go to some of the small looking places... It may look a bit shady but believe me the food is better, ask someone where the government canteen places are.. At times you find places that only serve food in the afternoons(usually family's that cook food for others)eg:- Anandaashram in Panjim on 31st January Rd. ( I've been there myself and really like the food) there's also some near the Goa Medical College Bambolim a few meters from the main entrance gate... you can ask anyone and they'll let you know..
The food is good and Cheap(20 buck's or a little more)
Not 100-150 bucks like a 5 star would charge for a measly crumb... the only thing you do at a five star is use the Clean toilets(and leave them clean mind you :P )

Ok let me start with my favorite..
theres Inferno's in Candolim...(I still DREAM bout the spare ribs and steaks mmmmmmmmmmmmmm......)
Theres also Brittos in Baga..their Meat platter is worth the money..
Well if you want to indulge in Exotic meat's (Deer,turtle,Bat etc...don't cringe till you've tried it)
there's a few places but..lets just leave that for those who are REALLY interested to find out on their own shall we!
You can also try Fisherman's cove right next to Inferno's in Candolim
Starlight On the Arpora road..on the way to the Ol' Saturday Night market...
There's Texas in Panjim(try the Green Coconut Chicken..made with tender cocnut..goes well with butter naans)
Shere E Punjab..ask for the Tangdi Kabab (not on the menu btw.. you have to Ask for it..little secret)
If you make a trip to Palolem(which everyone in their life time must do ONCE) try eating at Found things...the 9 of us ate for 200 bucks!!!!! KILLER AIN'T IT! OK... you'll might not get the same kinda bill but..then the food was good.
Well if your not feeling that hungry...and would like a little Snack..don't go to these Fancy shmancy places..they have nothing worth sinking your teeth into..try the D'Silva caterer's at Miramar Beach..esp cutlet bread, and pork chop with bread...filling and sinfully delicious..
Well I'm kinda drowning with places and I'm feeling hungry so I'll continue some other time... :D

I got wondering..about what made humor nowdays.. what gets your audience laughing...whats the main ingredient it bubbles down to...
And I finally settled on Sex and Sarcasm.

When I think of the things that iv said that have made people laugh….it ultimately boils down to one of them...sex or sarcasm...ie if not both in combination.

..this in turn got me picturing a future with delightfully sexually obsessed sarcastic people that hurt everyone, and theyd be our source of laughter and enjoyment..hmm.. ok that might be exagerated..and not sure if I worded that right..bleah…doesn’t matter….i have an excuse..its late-ish an im sleepy. But i shall yap a little further on.

Anyway..…..then theres the other component.:
Sex..

I remember watching ‘whos line is it anyway’ some weeks back with my father and while I was laughing out loud quite a bit my father was smiling politely thru most of it..which I realized eventually (i function slow) I realized it was cos he didn’t get the humour..now unfortunately I don’t recall any of the jokes but I do remember those were the ones loaded with sexual puns. And like most red blooded young’uns these form a vital part of my vocabulary but not so for pitaji dear. Then he turns to me and says sadly…”im getting old.. theyr jokes are too quick for me to catch and the ones I do hear, don’t make much sense to me” L

Im a huge dali fan and after seeing some of his pun paintings (like Chest of Drawers) Im going to attempt a bunch of sexual pun drawings.. first ill try the most common ones..shaved pussy ….uh…ok maybe sumthng else...

Like some few lazy others, I learn about things that are happening around the world not through the newspaper or news on tv, but through the msn homepage that pops open when I click me magic pointy wand à on my browser. Its so handy since it gives you headlines in those precious few seconds yu have it open before yu move onto the site yu eventually get to. Albeit the articles sometimes may be a tad idiotic and not really worthy of being classified as ‘news item’ but whatever… useless knowledge is sumthng Iv always approved of.

And in todays spotlight we have a Naughty nun! Yuppa…your life somehow just won’t be complete without one of those popping into the news every now and then. Her mum superior apparently got a leetle ticked off with the sudden dancey outburst. Pore liddle ole nunnykin.. *my heart bleeds for the trapped dancer in you!!!*

Although , not always is the news useless… through my trusty msn headlines I also learnt (at the time) that Marlon Brando died, Janet Jackson’s mammary gland made a public apprearance, heard of a very rich girl who loved her dead father so much that she one day decided she wanted tu be a man and went thru with it! (wish id saved the link to that one)

Ok on second thought…I may not have be THAT right about the ‘not-being-useless‘ thing.

Heres another ‘news item’ that shook the world! Imagine your private email account now not in your control anymore but in the hands of some stranger... the things that the perp could do with the account!!! I rather not think about it... Generally all good?

t'was browsing time again after dinner... spotted some articles... related to
credit cards... and to relationships which would tend towards "marriage"...

so I was like... these are pretty much the "two Topics" of my day... for one... i'm seriously considering ditchin' my visa debit card accounts with my banks... basically coz they screw me over with their exhorbidant rates.. i have a much healthier economical living with just a decent savings account. I dont have to maintain an average quarterly balance and all that... besides.. i dont have to worry about splurging cash if i just end up gettin that uncontrollable urge to. Although its been free for the first year or so.. atleast give me some written notice before they hit the accounts with stupid penalty fees n shite! Even a nice telephone call wouldn't hurt... Otherwise they know pretty well the art of buggin' the crap outta you if they want u to sign up for the screwed up account in the first place.

---- i actually read the article which was about why these cards have an expiry date and stuff... inquisitive to know the facts.. i read on... WHY CREDIT CARDS EXPIRE

Next up... i had a friend drop by my place in the evening... who was talkin to me about how the relationship (name to be kept:"anonymous") was in, was suddenly goin all south!... Now... i'm the worst person ever to give advice but, nevertheless... "I TRIED NOT TO" ; ) coz' i didnt want "anon" to go thru some shite becuz ov my 'waggley lil' tongue. from wot i see for that relationship tho' is more open discussion between the partners.. and maybe a lil more understandin of how they got there in the first place... and thats a pretty tough thing to do... "to see the hole that you're in.. from the outside!" if you get my drift. and then.. almost by voodoo hehe.. i came across the "marriage article" and I was like... oh! golly gee! now how the heck in whatszits did this have to happen to me... bleh bleh bleh... read it... and don't judge me just becoz its a msn womans article just the curiosity of the day stuff...

A while back a bunch of people were going on about how we should be saving the frogs.. I was one of them. I think frogs are fascinating creatures. ‘Course I also think that snake bites are exciting, celibacy results in insanity and that theres plenty of life other than that found on earth.

I think everyone has a frog in them.. not a live little amphibian..but ..er..a spiritual frog in them. According to the all knowing internet nature gods mine is a red eyed tree frog.

And now I leave you with some things these hoppy critters do that id advise the average human being:

*FLASH!!! Confuse Your Enemies
Some species have bright colours on their underparts or legs that flash when the frog moves, presumably confusing enemies. (be creative when you do the flashing)

*Bring good luck to family and friends
In Japan, frogs are the symbols of Good Luck. One myth says that bullfrogs are descended from a great ancestor who could suck all the mosquitoes out of a whole room in a single breath! This would keep you much loved by those friends and family members

Sure thing... now everyone wants a weblog ... Soon it'll be a necessity... especially to cash in on the google adsense program ... and hey! why not! As I'd like to term it and think of it as another long term investment ;) ...

All you gotta do is have a weblog or blog as it is more commonly known ... and sign-up for the google adsense program! However, the only lil' pre-requisite I should say, would be to have some "html" knowledge or know a good friend of yours who does :D

After that... all u need to do is post your blog with information that would be of
interest to people, more importantly should be something that people would want to
read ... wait for google and the other search engines to crawl your site... index it... and... BOOM ... hopefully you'll be in business, so to say!

AND This blog stuff could really work ... if people posted relevant topics ... that everyday people like you and I could search for topics, with search engines obviously,doh! ;) and find a good use for them ... if ... not in the least ... to provide some amount of entertainment or amusement in other words make someones day a lil' better.
And with the right amount of research on the blog writers part, things could turn pretty lucrative ;) ...

In all honesty though! the adsense program won't work so hot for us small timers... who average a mere one hit every 2 weeks! (hehe) I shouldn't be laffin') ...

for Us ... it would end up becoming an "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" kinda thing... after which the ppl at google find out and terminate our accounts! ;) ... [not sure on that one... and I don't want to find out the hard way, if you get my drift ;)]

And so in conclusion of this my babble! if you do see any google ads on any of our web-pages that interest you!, Be my guest and click on them! even if google isn't happy... you could be sure as hell that we would be!!!

Well some may grumble bout the rains on this side of the world..but hey...I don't think Goa gets any better. Ok...maybe there's a majority that fancy the so called winter and summer...but take it from me, someone who's been here for awhile...RAINS RULE...
The pleasure derived from riding a bike in Blinding rain...is inexlpicable (literally).
The rains do cause a nuisance, but hey so does the Blasted Heat...
In all this Rains and Ruckus...theres alot to do...from snuggling up with some coffee and a lovedone to Fishing frenzies.
With all said and done if the rains weren't a part of my life...how else would you use the words "I'm Wet" without raising a brow or two??? (Contemplate for a minute or two before doing ANYTHING...)

I finally cracked... n now i'm bloggin' ah wondered what it felt like.... Just needed a change, some time to think... time will tell...

Been browsing today... at 3:30A.M.(hardly the time to, insomnia? dunno)and also created this blog... was wondering what I could possibly post considering the time as well as the fact that I had created the blog and realised I had nothing to post!!!
came across several articles...

During the course of my morning adventure I caught up on some articles, first one on the msn home page today on millionaires... interesting shite now why didnt i think of that? huh? make money doing the stuff you love... makes you wonder " what the hell? why am I in a 9-5, n get paid peanuts for workin my ass off for a person who couldnt really care less 'bout ya, crib about it and still go back the next day like a zombie.. when i could do what I love most??"sheesh now i'm depressed!

Moving on...

I stumbled upon articles on XAML I was like "WTF is that?", that stuff is apparently out to revolutionise shite... read the f*kn article mate...ever heard of longhorn and avalon before? me neither...

and what about "RSS" ? a new concept to me... Really simple syndication apparently where u can customize the crap that comes to your PC, just imagine... NOW you urself are gonna end up knowingly spammin' urself and then at a later date crib about it.

I know I'm kind ov a pessimist but, its good to be a skeptic once in a while... You never know what this RSS stuff could be used for! besides it does sound like the name for some underground covert operation that would eventually take over the world... just like microsoft will ;)
